A song I wrote after seeing the absolutely broken look on some guy's face in a cheesoid T.V. movie.
Doesn't She?
I see her face from across the room
My heart sinks heavy as her feet hit the floor
The smile on her face is just a bad facade
Her hair flows back without a care in the world

<chorus>
Doesn't she know that she's suffering?
Doesn't she see that her pain is so real?
Why can't she know what she's feeling?
Why won't she wait for a new day?

Their bodies are close as their eyes meet
The touch of her hand makes him sway
I can't understand what makes her so care-free
Why is she acting this way?

<chorus>

[bridge]
What does she think she's doing?
Doesn't he see through the flirt?
How can her heart be so casual?
Doesn't she know that she hurts?

My thoughts go wild, should I warn him?
Am I the only one that can see?
I look to the sky and I wonder
Is she on the rebound, or is it just me?

<chorus>
