Greg Lake:
Greg Lake is a multi-talented musician and performer all the way around. He is commonly recognized for his vocals, guitars and bass but is a wonderful composer and lyricist as well. He is best known for being 1/3 of Emerson, Lake and Palmer but also did some time in King Crimson as part of the original lineup (replaced as bassist by John Wetton) as well as a brief stint in Asia (to replace John Wetton, ironically enough). My favourite of his work with ELP is Brain Salad Surgery with Karn Evil 9 standing out as most nifty.
