Was this written for a precious gem or a shallow female? You decide...
Heart of Stone
Bruning bright from far within,
The heart is buried deep.
Thought bright with life, you have no soul
And jewelled is your sheath.
Your glow is warm, your touch is cold,
Your face has many sides
Your beauty is eternal
And your fire does all but hide.
You shine so brightly forever,
A prize for any thief
When won, you bring such happiness
When lost, you bring but grief
